All MACF full time employees are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following their date of hire. MACF part time employees may be eligible for certain benefits as outlined below.

Extended Sick Leave: After capping out of accrued PTO, additional hours will be transferred to an Extended Sick Leave bank.
Election Day - We encourage you to exercise your voting privileges in local, state, and national elections. If necessary, you may take up to three (3) hours leave from work to vote in a governmental election or referendum.
School Leave – Parents, Foster Parents or legal guardians of pre-school children from daycare through college senior (age 23 maximum) can take up to four (4) hours of paid time off per school year per child to visit the child's school.
Funeral (Bereavement) Leave - Up to five (5) working days of leave with pay.
Jury Duty - MACF will permit you to take the necessary time off and we wish to help you avoid any financial loss because of such service. MACF will reimburse you for the difference between your jury pay and your regular pay, not to exceed eight (8) hours per day, for a maximum of ten (10) business days.
Share Leave:
Employees who have exhausted all PTO and ESL may be eligible for additional hours due to a serious health condition.
Flex Time: Flexible schedules are maintained between employee and supervisor.
Insurance coverage:
Medical : Two options available: Base Plan & Buy Up Plan. Cost substantially offset by MACF contribution.
